2. Randy was warned by his father not to become a wrestler as he needed to spend his time away from the family.

4. He served in the United States Marine Corps after graduating in 1998, but was absent without leave. As a result, he was held in a military prison for 38 days and then sent home.

Randy was cast in the lead role in The Marine 2 (2009) movie, but due to a collarbone injury, he was replaced by Ted DiBiase. He was later considered again in the next part of the film The Marine 3 Homefront (2013). However, due to his negative image with the Marine Corps, he was again replaced by wrestler Mike Mizanin.
