Early life and education of Randy Houser
Shawn Randolph ‘Randy’ Houser was born on December 18, 1975 in Lake, Mississippi, USA, where he spent some of his childhood. His father was a professional musician.
Randy attended East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi and while there he formed a band called 10 lb Biscuit. He had previously led his own band at the age of 10. He wanted to focus on his music career, so to become a songwriter, Randy moved to Nashville, Tennessee. One of his hits as a songwriter was ‘Honky Tonk Badonkadonk’, which reached the Top 5 singles.

He then signed with MCA Nashville but didn’t release anything, so he broke the contract and signed with Universal South Records in 2008. In May of that year, he released his first single called Anything Goes, which later entered the Top 40 country chart. by Billboard. .

He released the second single from his album called Runnin Outta Moonlight on March 4, which was certified Platinum in the United States and the same on CAN. It was number one on the Country Airplay chart in August 2013.
