Ragheb Soubhi Alama  ( Arabic:  راغب صبحي علامة ‎), born on June 7, 1962 in Beirut, is a Lebanese singer and songwriter, television personality, and philanthropist. Born into a Sunni Muslim family, he began his career in 1986 performing his first hits “  Ya Rait  ” and “  Hamdullah Aal Salama ”. Among his main titles are  Nasseni Donia or  El hob kebir . He performs a duet with Elissa with the song Betgheeb betrouh . In September 2008, Ragheb Alama  received a platinum disc for his large number of CDs sold. At the Mywon two Murex d’Or and several other awards during his career. His albums have made him one of the most successful commercial singers in the Arab world.
