RAFA CASTAÑO, CONTESTANT ON ‘PASAPALABRA’: HIS AGE AND HIS WORK OUTSIDE TELEVISION
Born in 1990 in Seville, he has a degree in journalism, which led him to work in the press office of the Seville City Council. He is also a collaborator of the program ‘Anochece que no es poco’, a program of a local station in his city.
He is fond of the world of series and cinema, being a special fan of ‘The wire’. Another of his passions is football and he is a Betis fan to the core.
Since 2018 he has been focused on his facet as a businessman, since he is a partner in a well-known bookstore in the Seville city, a dream that he was able to fulfill thanks to the money he earned in his second stage as a contestant on ‘Pasapalabra’.
But Rafa Castaño is not only known by followers of Roberto Leal’s space, he also became one of the legends of ‘Know and win’ on La 2. In 2016 he exceeded 100 programs and pocketed the amount of 64,380 euros in one one of the toughest contests on television.
HIS ADVENTURE IN ‘PASAPALABRA’ IN THE PAST
His arrival at the Antena 3 cultural contest is a return home, since during the stage in which it was broadcast on Telecinco he participated three times: in 2015, in 2017 and in 2019. In the last one, he was already measured against Orestes, being one of the longest-running couples on the show.
Both have pending accounts, since in the middle of a duel a court forced Mediaset to stop broadcasting the program, so it disappeared from the grid overnight without being able to continue fighting for the jackpot.
Although there were programs recorded in advance, they could not be broadcast, so the question remains as to what happened in them. At that time they faced each other 41 times, unless they could be seen on the screen.
