Qatar 2022 : Countries that have qualified for the Round of 16

Three countries have already booked their spots in the Round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The countries are: France, Brazil and Portugal.

Bruno Fernandes netted twice as Fernandes Santos’ men reached six points to stay top of Group H.

It was the third time at a World Cup that Portugal won two successive group-stage fixtures.

In the earlier game, Brazil beat Switzerland 1-0, thanks to a brilliant Casemiro finish.

The Selecao had won 2-0 against Serbia in their opening fixture.

France are also through, thanks to victories against Australia and Denmark.

Meanwhile, Host country Qatar has already been disqualified after back-to-back loss against Ecuador and Senegal in Group A while Canada also crahes out at the group stage stage after losing against Croatia and  Belgium
