Paris Saint Germain has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe wants to leave the club while Real Madrid has submitted a transfer bid of €160million (£137m) for Paris Saint-Germain in what could prove to be a stunning move.
PSG sports director, Leonardo while speaking with French media outlet RMC Sport said: “Kylian Mbappé wants to leave, that seems clear… If he wants to leave, we will not stop him, but on our terms.”
Leonardo again to L’Équipé: “Am I am certain that Kylian Mbappé will not extend? I don't know how to answer, we’ve been working the whole summer to show our top team to Mbappé. He just PROMISED he wouldn't go free, that's a fact”. ??? #PSG #RealMadrid

It is confirmation that Madrid has lodged the mega offer for the French international superstar in what looks certain to be ranked in the most three expensive transfers of all time.
The fee – which is likely to rise significantly before being accepted by the Ligue 1 club – is likely to be placed in the same bracket as the 2017 deals that took both Neymar and Mbappe to PSG.
Moreover, this would be an extraordinary deal in any context but particularly so by the fact that the Frenchman is out of contract next year – when Madrid would theoretically be able to sign him as a free agent.
Many onlookers are still bewildered as to how Los Blancos can afford to fund such a deal due to their financial situation.
After all, the club’s gross debt stands at a whopping €901million (£771m) with the net debt at a figure of €355million (£304m) – in club accounts that were made public in January this year.
