President Tinubu lands in Paris for Summit
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has on Tuesday landed in Paris, France capital for a two-day leadership summit. The leadership summit, which will also be attended by other world leaders, is starting on Thursday 22nd June to Friday June 23rd.
The Global Financing Summit which is being hosted by France President, Emmanuel Macron will be taking place at Palais Brongniart in Paris.
The leadership summit is President Tinubu’s first official trip abroad after his swearing in as Nigeria’s 16th President on May 29th, 2023.
Accompanying the President on the leadership summit are members of the Presidential Policy Advisory Council and other senior government officials.
In another news, President Tinubu has approved the return of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to the Office of the Vice President for supervision. Confirming the development, is the Director of Information, Office of the Vice President, Mr. Olusola Abiola.
According to him, The decision was in line with the various acts establishing the agencies.
