President Buhari to visit the United Kingdom for medical check-up

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to visit the United Kingdom, for a routine medical check-up

The information was disclosed by Femi Adeshina the special adviser to the president on media and publicity,

In a statement released on Monday, Adesina said the president will first meet with the security chiefs in the morning.

After his meeting with the service chiefs, the president will then embark on his trip.

“President Muhammadu Buhari proceeds to London, the United Kingdom, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, for a routine medical check-up,” Adesina said in the statement.

“The President meets with Security Chiefs first in the morning, after which he embarks on the journey.”

Buhari is expected back in the country in the second week of April.

The president has embarked on several trips to the UK to seek medical care since he assumed office.
