Forest Steven Whitaker is an American actor, producer, director, and activist. He was born in Longview, Texas in July 1961. It was deduced that his father was of Nigerian-Igbo descent and his mother had an Akan ancestry.
He is an award-winning actor who has starred in several blockbuster movies and is well known for his creativity. And he is quite known for his roles in the movies Idi Amin of Uganda (2006), and The Last King of Scotland.
Furthermore, he has been credited on several occasions for boasting of his Nigerian roots. He was said to have confessed to visiting Nigeria up to three times a year because he sees Nigeria as his home and, Africa as his root.
2. Olurotimi Akinosho
Olurotimi Akinosho, professionally known as Rotimi, is an American actor, model, and musician. He was born in Maplewood, New Jersey on the 30th of November, 1988. His parents are of Nigerian-Yoruba and Nigerian-Igbo descent.
He first became popular after starring Andre ‘Dre’ Coleman in Power which is also a popular television series. However, he has starred in several other movies and he is loved by fans for his looks and how well he interprets his roles. Some of the other movies he has starred in are Coming to America, Imperial dreams, Black Nativity, and so on.

Yvonne Anuli Orji is a Nigerian-American actress and comedienne. She was born in Portharcourt, Rivers State on the 2nd of December, 1983. However, she grew up in Maryland, United States.
In 2009, Yvonne Orji moved to New York to pursue a career in comedy. And in 2015, she came to the limelight as a result of her role as Molly on the series, Insecure.
She has featured in several movies and has won several awards since the beginning of her career.

Uzoamaka Nwanneka Aduba is an American actress. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on the 10th of February 1981 to Nigerian parents.
She became popular after starring in Netflix’s original series, Orange Is the New Black. After which she starred in several other movies and won several awards.

Danny Lebern Glover is an American actor, director, and political activist. He was born in San Francisco on the 22nd of July 1946 to Nigerian parents. And he is said to have a tradition of visiting Nigeria every year as he considers it his homeland.
He studied dramatic art in a special acting workshop for African Americans at the American Conservatory Theater. And ever since, he has featured in several movies and won awards.
