Statement by BJP leader Chitra Wagh
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior pioneer Chitra Wagh reportedly condemned the Maharashtra government and Pune police, blaming them for “trying to protect” Sanjay Rathod (Minister of State Forests) in association with the suicide case of Pooja Chavan on Thursday. February 25, 2021.
This, however, Chitra also visited the apartment in Mohammadwadi where Pooja was residing. In addition, he visited Wanavdi Police Headquarters and met with Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta to ask him why no FIR has been registered and no action taken against Rathod in the case.
