Plateau Massacre: Tinubu Orders Manhunt, Promises Justice for Slain Villagers

President Bola Tinubu has condemned the recent deadly attacks in Plateau State and vowed that those responsible will be captured and face the full wrath of the law.
The attacks, which occurred in Ruwi, Hurti, and Tadai communities in Bokkos Local Government Area, as well as Manguna and Dafo villages, led to significant loss of lives and widespread destruction of property.

“These recurring attacks have no place in our country. We are committed to restoring peace and stability. This tragedy won’t slow us down—it strengthens our resolve to defeat those behind such evil acts,” Tinubu stated.
He expressed condolences to Governor Caleb Mutfwang and the people of Plateau, calling for collaboration with security agencies to help identify the attackers and prevent further violence.
The President also instructed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to work with state officials in delivering swift relief and support to survivors and displaced residents.
