Synopsis

Pitbull is an American rapper who gained fame for his 2009 album , Rebellion and won the Billboard Music Award for Top Radio Song for ‘Give Me Everything’ in 2012. His 2013 song ‘Timber’ topped the Billboard Hot chart. 100 for three consecutive weeks.

Pitbull has two children with his ex-girlfriend, Barbara Alba , a daughter named Destiny and a son named Bryce.

Early age and education

Pitbull was born by his birth name, Armando Christian Pérez ^on January 15 , 1981 in Miami, Florida to Cuban emigrants. His parents divorced when he was young and only his mother supported him. He is of White American ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

José Martí, a Cuban national hero and poet, influenced him and even at the age of three, Pitbull could recite José’s most famous works. He believes that his great musical acumen and his popularity stem from his hard work and love of music. He spent his childhood listening to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Bass Music, Techno, Hip-Hop, House & Rave.

Pitbull studied at South Miami Senior High School and graduated from Miami Coral Park High School.

Race

Pitbull began his music career by signing with Luther Campbell’s Luke Records. He subsequently collaborated with the VP of A&R in 2001.

Through one of his friends, Fernandez, Pitbull met Lil Jon who offered Pitbull a track on his album, Kings of Crunk . His appearance on Jon’s album helped enhance his career as a determined new rapper.

In 2004, Pitbull came up with his first album, MIAMI , produced by Lil Jon & the Diaz Brothers . His solo title track ‘Ass’ peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the Hot Rap Tracks chart at number 11.

Later, in November 2007, Pitbull released his third album ‘The Boatlift’. There are several popular singles and collaborations on the album, including, ‘Secret Admirer’ with Lloyd, ‘The Anthem’ with Lil Jon, ‘Go Girl’ with Trina and ‘El Africano’ with Wilfrido Vargas.

In 2009, Pitbull teamed up with Ultra Records, after his former label, TVT Records, went out of business, for his fourth album, ‘Rebelution’. Some of her famous songs from the album are: ‘I Know You Want Me’, ‘Shooting Star’, ‘Hotel Room Service’ and ‘Blanco’.

In 2010 Pitbull collaborated with Emilio and Gloria Estefan. The same years, in November, he released his fifth album, ‘Armando’, which was his debut album in Spanish.

In April 2011, Pitbull was featured on two singles with Jennifer Lopez on her album ‘Love?’; are: ‘On The Floor’ and ‘Fresh Out The Oven’.

On June 21, 2011 he came out with his sixth album titled ‘Planet Pit’. ‘Hey Baby’, featuring T-Dolor and was the first single from the album and was an instantly huge hit.

In 2013, Pitbull anchored, American Music Awards and gave a concert at the end of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix . Apart from this, Pitbull collaborated with Jennifer Lopez again for ‘Live It Up’ and has appeared on albums by Flo Rida, Priyanka Chopra, Belinda, Jessica Mauboy, Jason Derulo and others.

Pitbull performed at the 2014 World Cup opening ceremony along with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte in the song ‘We Are One’ and later, the song was included in a 2014 World Cup album ‘One Love, One Rhythm’ released on April 15, 2014.

In late 2015, Pitbull released the single ‘FREE.K’ sampled from Adina Howard’s ‘Freak Like Me’ and also released another song ‘Freedom’ sampled from the song ‘I’m Free’ for The Rolling Stones.

Personal life

Pitbull is not yet married, but he is the father of four children. With his ex-girlfriend, Barbara Alba, he has two children, a son Bryce and a daughter Destiny. The rest of his children are from his ex-girlfriend.

Pitbull and Alba had a fairly long relationship, however they finally broke up in 2011. After that, Alba was allegedly receiving $3,000 per month as child support for her daughter, Destiny Perez.

A few years after his breakup with Alba, Pitbull dated a Mexican-American glamor model, Olga Loera , known for her enormous bust that is enhanced with silicone breast implants. However, this affair was relatively short-lived. Pitbull was also linked to the singer. Nayer, Jennifer Lopez but those were all rumors.
