PIERS MORGAN AND DES COLEMAN
On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Des Coleman made his first appearance on ITV’s breakfast show and it wasn’t long before he was trading mild insults with presenter Piers Morgan.
In fact, it was so clear that Piers Morgan was not in the best mood as he rushed to Good Morning Britain after the weather forecast ended.
The grumpy host, 55, ended up clashing with weathercaster Des Coleman finishing the forecast early.
It was Des’ first day, but he didn’t escape Piers’ wrath after the GMB host was seen tucking his shirt into his pants.
As he and Susanna Reid were heard announcing what was happening on the program, the camera cut short (a technical glitch) forcing Piers to rush to his seat early without having his microphone muted properly.
The presenter then advised his new colleague: “Des, rule a guy: you don’t finish early. While I’m in makeup beautifying you don’t stop early. ‘Des the weather guy finished early’, I’m like what? Why did he do this? Keep talking about the weather. »
Always the voice of reason, Susanna Reid intervenes: “Don’t blame the weatherman, it’s her first day. It’s not his fault. The camera shot froze, which meant…” Des then reappeared in front of the camera, laughing before saying, “Susanna, I love you. Piers, it’s my first day and you can’t even break a young man, a handsome guy. What’s wrong?’
Clearly, Piers doesn’t think much of Des’ “beauty” as he replies, “So far all you’ve done is call yourself beautiful. “One rule: A, stop talking.
Now I’ve heard you speak twice in the last half hour and all you’ve done is call yourself beautiful, beautiful, people saying how beautiful they are, they talk too much. ‘
Piers then suddenly realized that Des was a familiar face and exclaimed, “You were on EastEnders! Des then proudly recalled his days on the BBC One soap opera, with big boy Lenny Wallace who was friends with Ricky and Bianca Butcher, played by Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer respectively.

He played Lenny for three years from 1996 to 1999. ‘EastEnders was a big part of my career,’ Des remembers fondly. “Working with Barbra Windsor… I have very fond memories,” he added. Viewers seemed to like Des as one tweeted: “@DESCOLEMAN go Des, get @piersmorgan

Piers Morgan says Meghan and Harry ‘wouldn’t earn £1.50 from Netflix’ if there were no titles
On Tuesday September 8, 2020, PIERS MORGAN hit out at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle again today on Good Morning Britain as he demanded they give up their royal titles after their deal with Netflix was announced.
Good Morning Britain returned today with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid at the helm. Following the news that Prince Harry had covered the cost of renovating Frogmore Cottage, Piers stressed that he believed the royal couple’s upcoming move should both give up their Sussex titles.
“Good to see Harry and Meghan paying back Frogmore Cottage,” Piers began. ‘I think it’s another step towards divorce.’
Susanna added: ‘Well now they have a lot of money from Netflix.’
Piers added, “Yeah, so Netflix won it.
“But if they really wanted to be independent and live in Hollywood and Santa Barbara, and make ‘woke’ movies, then that’s fine.
“But as a lifelong resident of Sussex, I don’t think they should be allowed to retain their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
“If they want to be independent and separate from the royal family, why would they want the titles?
“Except of course, it was the titles that attracted business partners,” the host added.
Susanna asked: ‘Are they the ones who attract partners?’
‘What?’ asked Piers. ‘Do you think if he wasn’t Prince Harry and she was still Meghan from Suits that Netflix would have given them £100m?’
“You think if he wasn’t Prince Harry and she wasn’t Meghan from Suits who married Prince Harry that Netflix would have given them over £1.50? I’m serious.
“None of them have the qualifications to be in Hollywood.”
Susanna said, “Not all shows are made in Hollywood. You have shows on Netflix and they weren’t made in Hollywood.
“I’m a Hollywood star!” Said Piers speaking of his co-host.
“I’ve been in nine films which have made £1.4billion.”
“But Meghan and Harry are not going to Sussex,” Piers added.
“They don’t want to be part of the royal family, why are they called the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“Let’s face it, they only get this deal because they’re Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“No other reason, let’s be honest about it. We’re not doing this show because we got married, you never got married.
“I’m happy for them,” Piers concluded.
