Philippe Nahon
He specialized mostly in unpleasant roles in thrillers and horror movies. The usual secondary of the Gallic cinema Philip Nahon died on April 19, 2020, at the age of 81, after contracting the coronavirus.
Born in the French capital on Christmas Eve 1938, Philip Nahon made his film debut in 1962 with Jean – Pierre Melville ‘s The Confidant . He would then play all kinds of roles, especially in series and telefilms.
The unclassifiable Gaspar Noé recruited him for his short film Carne , where he was an unnamed butcher, which he returned to in Solo contra todos , the director’s feature film debut, and in Irreversible , where his presence is limited to a cameo. He was married to Elisabeth Weissman, also an actress and occasional filmmaker.
In addition, Philippe Nahon was the police commissioner of Hate , by Mathieu Kassovitz , and was involved in titles such as The Pact of Wolves , by Christophe Gans and War Horse ,by Steven Spielberg .
