Peter Robbins

He provided the voice of Charlie Brown, the popular Carlitos in the classic  “ Snoopy ” specials  of the 1960s. Peter Robbins committed suicide on January 25, 2022, at the age of 65, his family has confirmed.

Born in Los Angeles on August 10, 1956, Peter Robbins started out as a child actor and, starting at the age of 9, doubled for Charlie Brown. He got his start on the series with A Boy Named Charlie Brown , the 1963 television documentary on the life of  Charles M. Schulz , creator of the endearing characters.

Next,  Peter Robbins he voiced Charlie in six television specials, including  the perennial Christmas classics  A Charlie Brown Christmas  (1965) and  It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown  (1966), along with the 1969 feature A Boy Named Charlie Brow .
