Pete Maravich was born in the year 1947 on June 22 and sadly passed away in the year 1988 on January 5. He was born in a place called Aliquippa which is in Pennsylvania of the United States of America and passed away in a place called Pasadena which is in California of the United States of America. In his playing days, he was a nightmare for his opponents, as he used to pass his opponents fearlessly and with great pace. His parents’ names are Press Maravich and Helen Maravich. He died shortly after his father died of cancer.

From 1970 to 1974 he played for a team called the Atlanta Hawks. After that, he moved to another very popular team called New Orleans, which is also known as the Utah Jazz and played for them for six long years. He started playing for them in the year 1974 and moved to another team in the year 1980. In the last days of his career he played for a team called the Boston Celtics.
