Tragedy struck the prolific Swedish actor Per Oscarsson on January 2, 2011. It is a sad irony that an actor known above all for his role in The Girl Who Dreamed of a Match and a Can of Oil was burned to death. gasoline , adaptation of the novel by Stieg Larsson.
Forensics have identified the remains of the actor with the help of dental records, and his wife, Kia Ostling. Both died in the fire that broke out in their house on the outskirts of Skara, in southwestern Sweden.
