Payel Chakraborty (born 9 May 1980) is an Indian actress who has mainly worked in Bengali films, television shows and web series. She is also known for appearing on TV shows like Chokher Tara Tui, Goyend Ginni, and Ek Masher Sahitya. She this star has also appeared in movies like Cabin (2017) . On September 5, 2018, actress Payal has died at the age of 38 at a hotel in Siliguri, West Bengal. Arun Dev (hotel employee) has also revealed that Ms. Chakraborty would be leaving for Gangtok the next day.
