Paul Ronan is a British actor and director, best known for playing Sean Phelan in The Devil’s 1997 film, alongside well-known actors such as Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt and Julia Stiles, as well as playing the character Lenehan in Bloom (2003) alongside Stephen Rea and Angeline Ball. In 2001, Paul was recognized for his role as Edso Dowling in the Ballykissangel TV series and appeared in an Irish drama mini-series entitled Rebel Heart the same year. Paul starred in The Tudors TV series in 2009 alongside well-known Hollywood actors such as Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Henry Cavill and Natalie Dormer.

He also had a role in The Way I Live Now (2013), starring alongside his daughter, a well-known Hollywood actress Saoirse Ronan, and Tom Holland. In 1999 he was named “European Film Promotion Shooting Star” at the Berlin International Film Festival . One of Paul Ronan’s most notable achievements was being nominated for a 2018 Ireland Underground Cinema Award in the Best Supporting Actor category for his acting in Saving Santa (2017).
