Patxi Andion
Patxi Joseba Andión González, better known as Patxi Andion, died in a traffic accident in Soria on December 19, 2019. The Land Rover that was driving on the A-15, in the municipality of Cubo de la Solana, in the province de Soria, has left the road. He was 72 years old.
Born in Madrid on October 6, 1947, his parents immediately took him to the Basque Country, his region of origin. In the 1970s he became a political activist and controversial singer-songwriter. He triumphed with songs that are part of the popular memory of the Spaniards, which mixed romanticism with social themes, such as “I can invent”, “The house is left alone”, “Time, time”, “Who knows if it will come back again at dawn “, or “One two and three”.
In 1975, P atxi Andión began his journey as an actor, with El libro del buen amor. It was followed by feature films such as Libertad provisional or La estanquera de Vallecas . He also starred in the television series Página de sucesos and Brigade central .
Divorced from model and actress Amparo Muñoz , winner of the Miss Universe title in 1974, he was later in a relationship with Gloria Munis. In the last stage of his life, he worked as a professor at the Polytechnic School of Cuenca of the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
