education and career
Patrick at a very young age McEnroe has started playing tennis and was taught tennis at the Port Washington Tennis Academy. As a junior he reached the Wimbledon semifinals. In 1984 he teamed up with Luke Jensen and won the Clay Court and French Junior doubles and the USTA Boy’s 18.
In the same year, Patricio McEnroe made his impact on the professional tour teaming with his brother and won the doubles title in Virginia.
In 1987 at the Pan American Games, Patrick won the men’s doubles medal with Jensen. In 1986 and 1988 she also helped Stanford University win the NCAA team championship. While at Stanford, Patricio McEnroe was one of the members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
In 1988 from Stanford he completed his graduation with a degree in political science. After completing graduation, Patrick McEnroe joined the profession on a tennis tour.

In 1993, 1994 and 1996 Partick represented his country in the Davis Cup as a doubles player. After his brother stepped down as captain, he was named the United States’ 38th Davis Cup team title. In 2010 Patrick stepped down from the role and was the team’s longest-serving captain.
In USTA player development, Partick McEnroe became the General Manager in 2008. It was a series of tenures that were aimed at promoting junior tennis. As USTA Head of Player Development, he stepped down from him on September 3, 2014.
