Paco Leon
He will be remembered as Luisma, the most hilarious rehabilitated drug addict on television, in the series Aída . Paco León is currently one of the most popular Spanish actors.
Born on October 4, 1974, in Parque Alcosa, a neighborhood in Seville, Francisco León Barrios comes from a family of clowns, trainers and other circus performers. He always knew that he would also dedicate himself to the show and from a very young age he wrote his own plays and hosted birthdays. When he was studying drama and dance, he discovered that he unleashed laughs, with his comic range. “I have never been the typical funny person and as a child I was shy. I don’t tell jokes at weddings,” recalls the interpreter.
He began with theatrical productions, with the National Dramatic Center and as a dancer in modern dance shows. He made his screen debut with the series Castles in the Air , where he was a receptionist. His first job in the cinema was as a secondary in the unknown film Amar y morir en Sevilla (Don Juan Tenorio) , followed by a brief appearance in La vida mancha .
He rose to fame by parodying famous people in Homo Zapping , where he especially succeeded imitating Raquel Revuelta presenting films in “Estrenos de Billboard”. He came to appear at the Goya ceremony characterized as a clone of this model and presenter.
In the comedy Reinas he was a homosexual, the son of Verónica Forqué . In the series 7 lives he appeared for the first time as a guy that Eva Santolaria ‘s character used to arouse jealousy in her ex-boyfriend. Later, in the last episode, he played Luisma, the brother of Aída, the housekeeper, who later had her own spin-off. In Aída , he recovered Luisma, who became one of the most popular characters. He has combined this work with appearances in movies like Don’t call it love, call it X and with his work in the theater with the cabaret “Hole”.
Despite being fashionable for his work on the small screen, León has managed to be very discreet regarding his private life. With his girlfriend Ana, who is only known to be from Barcelona, he had a daughter named Manuela, in 2010.
