P. Diddy Joins Billionaire Club, replaces Kanye West

Sean Combs, better known by his stage name Diddy, has officially replaced Kanye West as a Hip-hop billionaire after Kanye west reportedly lost $2 billion in a single day and decreased to an estimated net worth of $500 million.

Zack O’Malley Greenburg revealed this on Friday through a post on Substack. According to the Former Forbes entertainment editor, P Diddy has a total net worth of $1 billion, making him the third hip-hop artist in history to reach the billionaire rank after Jay-Z and Kanye West.

He owes his new billionaire status to his decades of chart-topping hits, collaborations, and smart investments.

In furtherance, Jay-Z has reclaimed his spot as the world’s richest rapper and musician with a whooping net worth of $1.3 billion. Recall that Jay Z became hip-hop’s first billionaire in 2019 before he was overthrown by Kanye West.

Unfortunately, Kanye’s net worth came down dripping some companies such as Adidas ended their contracts with the rapper over his antisemitic comments, which were considered a violation of the company’s policy.

His business dealings were so complicated by his stream of anti-Black and anti-Semitic remarks that his entire wealth decreased from an estimated $2 billion to about $500 million.
