Oussama Mellouli is a Tunisian swimmer , who was born on February 16, 1984 in La Marsa.
He is an Olympic champion and world champion in the 1500 meters freestyle in Beijing in 2008 and also in Romme in 2009.
He became the first Olympic champion in swimming and the second gold medalist following “Mohammed Gammoudi”.
In 2012, Oussama won the gold medal for 10 km in open water and also a bronze medal for 15 meters in freestyle.
He began his career with the USC Trojans varsity team.
