Oussama Rahbani  (أسامة الرحباني), born in 1965, is a Lebanese musician and composer. He is the son of composer, musician and poet  Mansour Rahbani . From 2004 to 2007, he was a judge on the LBC  -produced  Star Academy reality show , teaching contestants lessons in music culture. In 2007, he was the composer of  Zenobia , a musical comedy by Mansour Rahbani , followed by  Le Retour du Phénix , performed at the Byblos International Festival, at the Casino du Liban and in Dubai. In 2009 he performed a remake of the musical  Sayf 840  by Mansour Rahbani, alongside Ghadi and Marwan Rahbani. It was performed at the Byblos Festival and at the Casino du Liban. In 2011, he composed, produced and orchestrated the album  La Bidayi w La Nihayi  with  Hiba Tawaji. They have been collaborating together since 2007 and have released two albums. He also composed the music for a performance at the Lebanese Congress Palace with Hiba Tawaji and Wadih Abi Raad.

Little known facts

Being a football fan, Osama took up the sport as an amateur. He started piano lessons at an early age and took music lessons at Berklee College of Music between 1990 and 1995. His music shows influences from his brother Marwan Rahbani and cousin  Ziad Rahbani  ; classical and jazz music. Oussama Rahbani ‘s classical music training took place alongside  Bechara El Khoury, Marwan Rahbani and Ghadi Rahbani .
