Irish actress, Orla Brady is best known for playing the role of Elizabeth Bishop in the sci-fi television drama, Fringe produced by JJ Abrams . Brady made her acting debut in 1991, but she rose to fame after 1994 when she starred in the film, Words on the Windowpane . Other popular works of hers include The Luzhin Defense , 32A , The Stranger , Unexpectedly , Noah’s Ark , and Chris Ryan’s Counterattack.
Early life and education of Orla Brady
Orla Brady was born on March 28, 1961 in Dublin, Ireland to Patrick Brady and Catherine (Kitty) Brady . She is the second of four children and was raised in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.
Brady attended Loreto Convent in Wicklow. He later joined the Ursuline Convent in Dublin. He moved to Paris at the age of 25 and studied at L’École Philippe Gaulier, securing a place at Marcel Marceau’s École Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris.
Orla Brady’s career
Orla Brady began her acting career with the Balloonatics Theater Company where she toured in productions of Hamlet and Finnegans Wake . She then returned to Dublin to work at the Gate Theatre.
After moving to London, he began working in theatre, television and film in both Ireland and Great Britain.
The couple first met in Los Angeles in 2001, and a year later tied the knot in December at Chyulu Hills in Kenya. As of 2018, they reside in the mountains of southern California.
