Upcoming Nigerian Rapper Oladips has apologized to Wizkid, following the release of his Diss track for the singer, who was in news for declaring rap dead.  Oladips, while rendering his apologies on Twitter, ranted about the lack of love among indigenous rappers in the country. He called out Olamide and Reminisce, who are veteran indigenous rappers, sharing details of how they stopped relating with him.

Beginning his rant he noted how the veteran indigenous rapper Seriki hosted a concert recently but never invited him. He also stated that stakeholders in the rap industry have been avoiding him following his clash with Reminisce, which prompted him to leave his(Reminisce) record label.

Calling out Olamide, he said they used to be very close but he(Olamide) stopped talking to me after he left reminisce record label. He also insinuated that many people stopped associating with him because they thought he was into online fraud. Clearing up all the misconceptions about him, he noted that the only he knows how to do is music.

He further stated that he hopes one day he alongside the veteran indigenous would find a common ground and resolve all their issues.  He added that the lack of love in the rap niche was visible as upcoming rappers don’t get similar support as what Afrobeat singers get from Davido and Wizkid.

Concluding his piece, He made a shout-out to all stakeholders in the rap industry, beckoning them to put away all dark energy and embrace love. Noting that We are not going to live forever, he said he just wants to make music, make more money and take care of himself and his family.
