Orenthal James Simpson , nicknamed OJ Simpson born July 9, 1947 (age: 71) in San Francisco, California is an American football player and also a film actor.
NFL Hall of Famer who won the Heisman Trophy in 1968 at the University of Southern California and the Buffalo Bills’ first overall pick in 1969. Oj Simpson was tried in 1994 for the murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and a waiter, Ronald Goldman. He was acquitted of the charges after a widely disputed verdict.
In 1973, he became the first professional football player to run for more than 2,000 yards. Oj Simpson and his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson have two children.

- OJ Simpson is considered one of the greatest players in football and worked in Pro Football Hall of Fame. Simpson attended the University of Southern California (USC) where he played college football for the USC Trojans and won the Heisman Trophy in 1968. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, and with the Buffalo Bills 1969–77 and San Francisco 49ers from 1978–79. In 1973, he became the NFL’s first player for 2,000+ yards in 14 games.
- After finishing the football career, he devoted himself to cinema and played a role as Agent Nordberg in the series of The Naked Gun. Along with his sports and film career, he went through a difficult time following his accusation of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. - In 1994, Simpson was arrested and charged following the deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. He was acquitted by a jury after a long and international trial. The families of the victims later filed a civil suit against him, and in 1997 a civil court entered a $33.5 million judgment against him for the wrongful deaths of the victims.
