Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the attack of Yoruba secessionist Sunday Igboho’s house in Ibadan by Nigerian military personnel. The attack came few hours after the capture of Nnamdi Kanu.
Two people were reportedly killed when the men in military uniform breached Igboho’s residence Soka, just south of Ibadan city centre.
Footage said to be from the incident contained blood spills in Mr Igboho’s living room. Several vehicles and other valuable assets in the building were also reportedly destroyed.
However, the overnight attack came as Mr Igboho was preparing a major rally of separatist agitators scheduled to hold in Lagos on Saturday.
Attack on Sunday Igboho's residence, they came and like they did at Lekki tollgate, they left with the bodies.

Buhari's government is extremely brainless and never learns from it's mistakes. What did the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu in 2015 achieve other than to make him into a demi-god? What of arrest of Zakzaky? Made his followers more determined. Now attack on Sunday Igboho's residence?

The Federal Government's handling of Nnamdi Kanu in 2015/2016 made him more popular and won him more followers. It looks like they are doing the same with Sunday Igboho. Fortunately, this Yoruba Nation thing has not gone too far and still can be addressed.

Chief Sunday Igboho survived military attack this morning around 2am in his home. His properties was destroyed & people were killed. This is a declaration of war on yoruba people. They're trying to stop Lagos rally from taking place. Fulanization is real. Wake up to reality.

Disagree with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s methods, but don’t disagree with his ETERNAL TRUTHS. Take Kanu or Sunday Igboho out of the picture, Biafra/Oduduwa is an idea, ideated in the minds of those who seek freedom. While we vote & hope for the best, don’t lose sight of what Nigeria is.
