Nigerians have taken to Twitter to show their anger and displeasure concerning the recent Fulani attack in Benue state.

The Fulani herdsmen have reportedly massacre over 36 residents and college students in Shikaan Mbagena Kpav, a TIV community in Benue State.

No doubt the insistent killing that has bedeviled Benue state is really any eyesore incident; Moreso, the deaths were recorded in the early hours of today, May 27.

You will recall that we earlier reported that the chairman of the Katsina-Ala local government area of Benue State, Alfred Atera, has lamented that bandits have killed over a hundred people in the state between Saturday and Sunday.

Apparently, the recent attack is the latest in the series of attacks that have befallen the state which affected four council wards, Yoyo, Utang, Mbatyu/mberev, and Mbayongo – in the local government.

Nigerians have however shown their displeasure on Twitter as the Hashtag #Benueunderattack took the number one trend for over 5 hours now amassing over 80K tweets.
