“It was temptation from the devil” – Nigerian student arrested for attempting to date a minor in the UK
Kenneth, a Nigerian student, moved to the UK in February 2023 to pursue his Masters’ degree. Unfortunately, recent reports have revealed he was arrested after engaging in inappropriate conversations with children aged 14 to 15. According to him, it was the temptation from the devil.
A Nigerian student named Cyril Kenneth has recently been apprehended by the police in Belfast, United Kingdom, following accusations of engaging in relationships with underage individuals. A video circulating on social media, shared by a group called Warriors of Children, captures the moment when he was confronted by the authorities and subsequently taken into custody for alleged misconduct involving minors.
In a bid to leave the country Nigeria to have a better future and a better chance at life, Kenneth, a Nigerian student, moved to the UK in February 2023 to pursue his Masters’s degree. Unfortunately, recent reports have revealed a disturbing situation involving him. It appears that he engaged in inappropriate conversations with children aged 14 to 15.
Meanwhile, many of the said children have taken the case to the authorities, reporting Kenneth to the police, while providing evidence of his actions, which involved grooming and sexual harassment. The evidence included text messages where he sent inappropriate pictures without their consent, requested personal addresses, and even invited one of the children to his residence for intimate purposes. These messages were deeply concerning and alarming.
Upon being questioned by the authorities, Kenneth admitted to his offense. He attributed his behavior to the temptation from the devil and expressed that he had reached out to the children because he was seeking friendship, being new to the country.
As a result of his confession, Kenneth was handed over to the police for further investigation and potential prosecution. The authorities will thoroughly examine the case to ensure justice is served.
