The Drug Enforcement Administration called Mr Akorede “fugitive of the week.” The U.S. Department of Drug Enforcement Administration first declared Mr Akorede wanted for trafficking heroin on June 16 via its official Twitter page.

An official statement was released on Tuesday, further informing the public on how to “anonymously report tips about fugitives and other criminal activity” to the agency. Mr Akorede, 69, who was last seen in Brooklyn, NY, is 5’11 tall, with black hair and brown eyes. His jurisdiction was stated as the Eastern District of Michigan.
