Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan is dead

Popular talented Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, actor, comedian, and recording artist Lanre Fasasi AKA Sound Sultan, is dead.

More so, his death was confirmed in a statement issued by his family member, Dr. Kayode Fasasi.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announced the death of multi-talented veteran singer, Rapper, Song Writer, Olarenwaju Fasasi AKA Sound Sultan.

“He passed away at the age of 44, following a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.

“He is survived by his wife, three children, and his siblings.

“We family will appreciate utmost privacy as we come to grips with this tragic loss.”

Sound Sultan wasn’t about the bitches, money, cars and necklace. He sang about societal issues. Bad education. Corruption. Incompetence. Poverty. He challenged and criticised political leaders. He was a solid artist.
