Early life and education of Nico Mirallegro
Nico Mirallegro was born on January 26, 1991 in Heywood, England to Maureen Mclaughlin. His mother is Irish and his father is of Italian descent. Furthermore, he belongs to the mixed ethnicity and has an American nationality. He has a brother, Claudia Marissa Mirallegro .
Nico went to boarding school outside of the UK. Later, he joined Siddal Moor Sports College in Heywood and Manchester School of Acting to pursue his acting career.

Nico Mirallegro made his acting debut with the 2007 British soap opera, Hollyoaks , he played the character of Barry ‘Newt’ Newton. He was nominated for The British Soap Awards for Best Newcomer and The British Soap Awards for Best On-Screen Partnership for the series.
After two years, Mirallegro left the show to pursue other acting projects. He was cast as Giovanni Mannasori in the 2010 British medical soap opera Doctors . The same year, he starred in a British drama series, Downstairs Upstairs as Johnny Proude for two years until 2012.
