New Aviation School Opens in Lagos- Harris Air has begun operations in the Lekki area of Lagos, becoming the first of its kind on the Island.

Lagos Island Metropolis finally boasts of an accredited aviation training school as Harris Air Training School has been launched as the first of its kind in the area.

In a statement released by the institute, the management revealed that it would offer courses on cabin training on the EMB 145, ATR 72, and B737. Other courses that will be offered by the institution also include Advanced Dispatch Training, Basic Flights Dispatch Training, and other courses authorized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The statement read in part: “Harris Air Training School is set to make its mark on Nigeria’s aviation training landscape. With experienced instructors, flight dispatchers, cabin crew, airline ticketing, and ground members of staff, it is expected that Haris Air will deliver nothing short of excellence to its trainees”.

The school, which is an indigenous Nigerian institute is accredited by relevant national and international aviation bodies. Some of these authorities include the International Air Transport Association and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority.

Located in Lekki, Lagos, Harris Air joins a list of other accredited aviation training institutes in the State. Some of these institutes include Dhaewood Aviation Business School, Ikeja; Universal school of aviation, Ejigbo; Landover aviation business school, Ikeja, and Aeroconsult Aviation, Ikeja, among others.

Harris Air Academic Calendar, Courses, Fees, and Eligibility

The institution has revealed that part of its requirements for entry into the institution is a minimum SSCE for all courses.
