Executive Director of the JCC (Carthage Cinematographic Days) in 2017 and 2018, Néjib Ayed is also a Tunisian producer.

Holder of a master’s degree in French literature, the Tunisian producer began his professional career in the field of cinema and worked as a film critic for the time from 1975 to 1977.

Nejib Ayed Career

1975-1977: He worked as a film critic for Le Temps.
1975-1977: was responsible for the culture section.
1973 and 1979, he was secretary general and then president of the Tunisian Federation of Film Clubs.
1980 to 1988: he was director of the Tunisian Limited Company for Cinematographic Production and Expansion in charge of productions and then of international promotion.
1991: he took the helm of the International Film Festival for Children and Young People.
1999, he founded his own production agency, Rives productions, which produces several films.
2017-2018: he was executive director of the Carthage Cinematographic Days.
Among the films he has produced, we find: “An Odyssey” by Brahim Babaï, “War reporter” (Il Hay Irrawah) by Mohamed Amine Boukhris, “Kingdom of Ants” by Chawki El Mejri, many others features and shorts, as well as the success of the last Ramadan on El Hiwar Ettounsi, the “Flashback” series with Lotfi Abdelli.
