Neil Richard Flynn is an American actor and comedian who is best known for his role as a janitor on the NBC medical drama comedy Scrubs . He received wide acclaim for his role as Mike Heck on the popular ABC series. Half (2009-2018). Some of the other notable movies and TV series of him include Seinfeld , Awake , Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie , It’s A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, Home Alone 3 , The Resurrection of Gavin Stone among others. He has also provided the voice for him in several popular animated films and television shows such as King of the Hill ,Ratchet and Clank , Clone High USA , and DC web series Zorra .
Early life and education of Neil Flynn
Neil Flynn was born in the year 1960 on November 13 in Chicago, Illinois, United States, under the birth sign of Scorpio. He is American and belongs to Irish descent. He is a Christian by religion and was raised in the Roman Catholic faith. When his family moved to Waukegan, Illinois, at a young age, he attended Waukegan East High School in 1978.
During high school, he and classmate Mike Shklair performed a comedy act in the competition for which they won the Comedy Duet Performance title for the Illinois Single Events state championship. He attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. After graduating from the University, he returned to Chicago to pursue his acting career.
Neil Flynn’s career
Neil made his screen debut in 1982 and has dedicated his life to this field. He has performed at big name theaters like Goodman and Steppenwolf after returning to Chicago. He was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for The Ballad of the Sad Café in 1986 and has also performed with the Second City Comedy Troupe and the Improv Olympic.
Neil Flynn made his television screen debut in 1982 in a small role in an episode of the show. Brookside as Soza He is a regular face on the television screen though in minor roles and has also acted in leading roles. He played in the CBS episode. Summer Playhouse and Saber in the year 1987.
