He participated above all in well-remembered series, such as “Miami Vice”, “Law and Order” and the recent “Mare of Easttown”. Actor Ned Eisenberg died on February 27, 2022, a victim of cancer. He did it in his New York home at age 65. “As Ned would say, he was attacked by two very rare killers: cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma. Born on January 13, 1957 into a Jewish family, New Yorker Ned Eisenberg was educated at Performing Arts High Schools. After starring in the Broadway play “Birghton Beach Memoirs”, he began to lavish himself as a supporting role in feature films, such as Civil Action or Celebrity . 

Clint Eastwood cast him in  Million Dollar Baby  (2004) and  Flags of Our Fathers  (2006). 

He was in seven episodes of  Law & Order  (1997-2009), in a total of 24 episodes of  Law & Order: Special Victims Unit  (1999-2019) where he played defense attorney Roger Kressler. In  HBO’s Mare of Easttown , Ned Eisenberg played Hauser, a detective trying to shed some light on the murder case of teenager Erin McMenamin.

Ned Eisenberg had a son, the fruit of his marriage to the aforementioned Dunnock.
