Natalie dormer
A look capable of melting ice and reaching the hardest heart, with her, Natalie Dormer, has been able to conquer the toughest and cruelest men in both England and West. She able to handle the unstable Henry VIII and hold her head longer than the rest of her wives as she gets fawned over by the cruel King Joffrey.
Natalie was born in the year 1982 in Reading, Berkshire, England. She grew up with her stepfather, her mother, her sister Samantha, and her brother Mark. She attended Chiltern Edge Secondary School before transferring to Reading Blue Coat School which she combined with her dance classes. After graduating she studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Six months after finishing her studies, in 2005, Natalie landed her first role on the big screen as Victoria, in the film Casanova , alongside Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller . Director Lasse Hallström later commented that he was so impressed by Dormer’s comedic skills that he expanded her role in the film. Her career continued with guest roles on the series Distant Shores and Rebus . In 2007 she played the journalist Cassie in the film A Brilliant Plan played by Michael Caine and Demi Moore .. In that same year she rose to fame when she landed one of the roles for which she is best known of hers, that of Anne Boleyn, which she played during the first two seasons of the hit Showtime series The Tudors .
In 2009 he appeared in the television movies Miss Marple: Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? , where she played Moira Nicholson, Masterwork and City of Life . She played Private Lorraine in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger , starring Chris Evans , and also played journalist Celeste Chevalier in Poe . Already in 2010, she tried her luck on stage at the Young Vic theater in London, playing ‘Mizi’ in the play Sweet Nothings . After her passage through the theater, she returned to the small screen where she appeared in the series Silk and The Fades until in 2012 she joined the HBO seriesGame of Thrones , where she plays Margaery Tyrell, the wife of Renly Baratheon, who yearns to become Queen of Westeros.
He joined the cast of the Elementary series where he plays Irene Adler, Sherlock’s love. She also appeared in the film Rush which tells of the title fight between James Hunt and Niki Lauda and where she coincided with Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl. Already in 2014 Dormer appeared in the film of the saga The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 where she plays Cressida, who reappears in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 .
Regarding her personal life, she has been in a relationship with Anthony Byrne since 2007, with whom she lives in London.
