Nassif Zeitoun  (Arabic:  ناصيف زيتون  ), also nicknamed ”  Abou Elias “, born September 25, 1988, is a Syrian singer. Nassif is an artist passionate about music since his childhood.

Winner of the Arab reality show Star Academy, Nassif Zeytoun is known for his hugely popular song “Mesh Aam Tezbat Maae”, released in 2014. His music videos on YouTube have millions of views, and counting . His new album entitled “Toul Al Yom” was released in July 2016 and instantly reached the top of the charts.

One of the tracks, “Bi Rabbek” , was #1 on the music app Anghami . Nassif took part in Stars On Board 2016, a television cruise with celebrity guests from the Arab world, and performed several concerts in Syria and Lebanon in the summer.

Nassif is a proud Syrian whose love for his country and people inspired the song “Haweety ,” a patriotic anthem in which the singer pays homage to his beloved and heartbroken country.

In 2011, and after signing an artistic business management agreement with “Music Is My Life” and a production agreement with “Watary”, Nassif reached a particular stage in his career through his participation in the operetta “Boukra”, under the direction of international producer Quincy Jones and Lady Gaga ‘s talented producer Red One .

The Syrian singer, who confides with humor that he has never been first in anything, nevertheless affirms that he wants to be on the music scene, if not not to be there at all. His motto: “The second in class is like the last. It is this leitmotif that prompted him, in 2010, to win the seventh season of the successful telecrochet Star Academy.
