Naresh Tikait (Hindi: “ नरेश टिकैत ” born b/w 1966-1968) is an Indian farmer, politician, farmers’ leader, and speaker, and entrepreneur from Sisauli, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is well-known in the country as the eldest son of well-known farmer leader Mahendra Singh Tikait.
As per the sources, Mahendra Singh was the president of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU). After his death, his elder son Naresh becomes the president of BKU. Apart from the president of BKU, Naresh Tikait also serves the position of chief at the Baliyan Khap Panchayat.

Being a farmers’ leader and the president of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), Naresh Tikait entered the 2020-2021 farmers protest against three farm laws along with other farmers’ leaders. He and his brother Rakesh help and lead farmers every time during protests.
According to sources, the Protest went peacefully for three months, but during the tractor rally on 26 January 2021, there was a lot of panic on the Red Fort arose. Due to which many farmers and police personnel were injured. After this incident, the police registered an FIR on some other leaders, including Rakesh.
