- When she was 3 years old, her family moved to the US and decided to settle in Florida.
- She took her early tennis training at Harold Solomon Institute (Florida Tennis SBT Academy) and ProWorld Tennis Academy .
- Since she has dual, Japanese and American, citizenship, she has been courted by Japan Tennis Association and American Tennis Association. However, her father decided to enroll her with the former, believing that they would provide better support and support.
- In November 2015, Naomi was able to win her first WTA final when she prevailed as the champion at the WTA Rising Stars Invitational exhibition tournament.
