Nancy Ajram  ( Nancy Ajram ), née le May 16, 1983 in Beirut is a Lebanese pop singer. The Lebanese singer began singing at the age of 8, taking part in competitions and shows for the Lebanese Arabic-speaking television channel LBC and received her very first prize at the age of just 14. But it was not until 2003, with the song “  Akhasmak ah”  from her third album  “Ya Salam”  that Nancy Ajram ‘s career exploded. She becomes the youngest artist to enter an album and a title at the top of the rankings in Lebanon and Egypt. The young woman represents the Coca-cola brand but also a Damas jewelry brand. Nancy Ajramsigns a contract with the Huawei telephone brand, she is the face of the Ascend Mate 7. She appears in particular in advertisements of the brand.

Little known facts

• Nancy Ajram received many negative comments after her manager, Jiji Lamara, asked the organizers of her concert in Sweden not to allow rainbow flags at her concert.
• On her arrival at a large Marrarkchi palace, Nancy Ajram shunned, in a manner deemed not very gallant, the offering usually reserved for the great guests, namely milk and dates.
• Nancy Ajram is talked about a lot and her tours are sometimes quite hectic. During a concert in Bahrain, she provoked strong political reactions and during another concert, this time in Kuwait, she was forced to wear a black dress that would hide her legs up to her ankles.
• The young woman has received numerous awards since her debut, notably as the best Arab singer by a magazine. At the 2008 World Music Awards in   Monaco, she was crowned Best Artist of the Year in the Middle East.
