Myrna Pride (born March 20, 1996) is an American former receptionist and public figure from Richmond, Virginia. She is recognized as the wife of Joe Morrissey (lawyer and politician).
He served as the Richmond, Virginia, Commonwealth Attorney from 1989 to 1993. In November 2007, Morrissey was elected to the seat of the Virginia House of Delegates. On December 18, 2014, the politician resigned after he admitted to having had sex with a minor.
Myrna was the same girl with whom he was accused of having an inappropriate relationship. She used to work for him at his private law firm. In addition, Joe charged with numerous felonies.
He even owned a nude photo of Pride and shared it with one of his friends. Initially, she denied all the accusations and refused to resign. However, the truth soon came out due to various tests.
The politician subsequently served a three-month active sentence and maintained his status in Richmond politics. Most recently, he was elected to the Virginia State Senate in November 2019.

Myrna met her then-boyfriend, Joseph Dee Morrissey, when she was just 17 years old. At that time, they performed at the Richmond Foot and Ankle Center. Joe Morrissey’s wife used to work there as a receptionist.
In August 2013, Pride began working for the same position at Morrissey’s law firm. Later, she also became Joe’s secretary and even served there as an intern. Myrna Pride is 39 years younger than her spouse.
Pride married Joe Morrissey in a private ceremony that took place on June 11, 2016 in Varina, Virginia. Earlier, in 2015, Joe’s wife gave birth to their first child, a boy named Chase Morrissey.
