Myriam Fares (in Arabic ميريام فارس) is a Lebanese singer, actress and dancer born in Kafar Shlal, in the south of Lebanon. Myriam began her career as a singer in 2003, with her first album “  Myriam  ”, her two singles ‘ Ana Wel Shouk’ and  ‘ La Tis’alni’ were very successful. Myriam Fares plays traditional music strongly impregnated with pop (or the reverse) that the DJs remix. She is one of the most renowned singers in the Arab world.

Coming from a Maronite Christian family, Myriam Fares took ballet lessons at the age of five and then won the Al Mawahib Al Saghira competition broadcast on Télé-Liban 1 at the age of nine in the oriental dance category. She studied at the National Conservatory of Music and Musicology for four years, she also took ballet lessons at the age of five and then participated in the Al Mawahib Al Saghira competition.

At the age of sixteen, she took part in the Lebanese Song Festival and won first prize. But it was really at 17, when, like several heavyweights of Arab song such as Nawal Al Zoghbi, Elissa or Ragheb Alama, she participated in and won the Studio El Fan musical competition.

Myriam Fares got married in August 2014 to Lebanese-American businessman Danny Mitri, in a ceremony on the island of Santorini in Greece, after ten years of relationship.

On October 6, 2015, Myriam Fares announced through her Instagram account that she was pregnant with her first child. On February 6, 2016, she gave birth to a boy named Jayden Mitri, then on October 20, 2020 to her second boy, Dave Mitri.

In 2003 Myriam launched her first album, titled Myriam, in which she sang eight songs. Her first single Ana Wel Shouk was a big hit. His second single, La Tis’alni, also became a big success and allowed him to expand his notoriety in Egypt. And since then, a star career begins.
In 2008, she was chosen to appear in advertisements for Sunsilk shampoos and Freshlook contact lenses. The same year, she tried her hand at the cinema by filming in the remake of the Rahbani brothers’ play, Silina.
