A Nigerian on Twitter has shared his first experience kissing a lady who according to him was in Junior Secondary School.

No doubt, kissing of any kind and the form is pretty new and became more common probably a few decades ago.

There are some cultures, or perhaps, most Nigerian cultures expect the younger or underprivileged in the society to not involve in such acts at that early age.

People, mostly rich folks now kiss each other by the cheek like foreigners do to the distaste of many… “What are they doing, making such a sound ‘purity, are they mocking each other?”

Kissing has never been our culture, but the young and the rich are fast adopting it, but every time I see that gesticulation I see a mild disgust in their faces.

And the average Nigerian Man would rather drop dead than kiss the back of a lady’s hand which to most ladies is a sign of politeness. My own father would feel sorry for me, for being a woman wrapper.

According to the Twitter user:

It was during extra lessons in the evening, she called me to the back of the classroom after we’d finished, I liked her but I wasn’t expecting the kiss, she brought her head close to my ear like she wanted to tell me something before I knew it…
