Clay’s global hit song, Love Nwantiti (Ah ah Ah) is the most streamed Nigerian song on Spotify, with over 541 Million streams. The song was released in 2019 as the second track from his second extended play Ckay the First but did not attain commercial success until 2021.
The song charted across Europe, Australia, Latin America, and New Zealand, reaching number one in India, the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland. It also peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart and reached number one on the UK Indie Singles Chart. It also reached No. 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200, and appeared on the Canadian Hot 100.

2. Love Nwantiti Remix – Ckay ft. DJ Yo & Ax’el
CKay appears again with his Love Nwantiti remix ft Dj Yo & Ax’el. The song was released in 2021, to give the song more reach in East Africa. It however grew to the second most streamed Nigerian song on Spotify, with over 429 Million Streams. Just like the original, Love Nwantiti Remix topped the chart in numerous countries including Spain, where it received a gold certification for selling 20,000 copies.

Burna Boy’s “On The Low” takes third place among the most streamed Nigerian songs of all time on Spotify, with over 170 Million Streams. It was released on November 16, 2018, as the second lead single for Burna Boy’s fourth studio album, African Giant.
The song charted on the French singles chart, where it peaked at 78, and won Burna Boy, the Viewers’ Choice award at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival. It is presently one of the best-selling Nigerian Songs, with a Silver certification in Uk, Gold in US, Platinum in Canada, and Diamond in France.
4. Peru – Fireboy ft Ed Sheeran
Fireboy’s reworked version of Peru featuring Ed Sheeran takes third place among the most streamed Nigerian songs of all time on Spotify, with over 169 Million Streams. The song was released on 24 December 2021 as the second lead single of Fireboy’s third studio album, Playboy.
The song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, and number one on UK Afrobeats Singles Chart. It also charted in numerous countries including the Canada hot 100, where it peaked no 37, and the US Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at no 53.

The song peaked at number 26 and 31 on Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts, respectively. It became the first Nigerian song in history to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global 200. It also charted on the Uk Singles chart, where it peaked at 16, and on the Canadian Hot 100, where it peaked at 30
