  2. Pjanić and his family moved to Luxembourg just before the Bosnian War (1992-1995).
  3. Miralem’s football career began with a team called Schifflange 95 at the age of seven.
  4. Pjanić joined French club FC Metz in 2004 after being proposed by former Luxembourg international Guy Hellers. He spent around three years in the youth team before moving to the senior side.
