The 40-year-old writer was once addicted to drugs. Also, at age 8 he started smoking. His grandfather was a drug dealer and thief. Under his influence, Mintu at the age of 16 began taking heroin.

In addition, he once participated in 12 criminal cases, including robbery and murder. In 2009, Brijendra had an accident. He checked himself into the hospital where he realized his drug addiction was leading him down the wrong path. Therefore, he decided to quit his addiction and lead a healthy life.

Surprisingly, Mintu never realized that her life story would one day be made into a biopic. The movie Dakuaan Da Munda is based on her life. It will be released on August 10, 2018. Also, it is produced by Lakhvir Chahal of Dream Reality Movies.
