Born on May 10, 1954, in Chicago (Illinois) Michael Gerard Hagerty –his full name– began his journey in 1973, as a secondary in Alaska Trappers , a low-budget adventure film. From that moment, he chained secondary characters in film and television.

Throughout the 1980s, Mike Hagerty undertook Walter Hill twice, for The Great Waste (starring Richard Pryor and John Candy) and Danko: Red Heat (with Arnold Schwarzenegger). He also appeared in the 1985 comedy A Sea of ​​Troubles , with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, consolidating his facet as a character actor in highly successful series this decade.

On television he made appearances in  Cheers , The crime story, Married with children, Those wonderful years, Family ties or Star Trek: The next generation  and Seinfeld . By the 1990s,  Mike Hagerty   lavished himself on secondary roles, almost always comic, in titles such as  Wayne’s World, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me or  Disney’s Inspector Gadget . In 1995 he gave life to Mr. Teeger from Friends for the first time . Mike Hagerty actually  appeared in only five episodes, but his portrayal of the reclusive landlord of the building where the leads lived led to some memorable moments.

Since then he has not left television,  Mike Hagerty   appearing in other famous series such as Boston Legal, CSI, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, Shameless or Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
